        <p>The monograph is part of the INNOVA CUBA project, a multi-year partnership between ARCS and the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana (OHCH). The aim is to strengthen the preservation, enhancement, and dissemination of Cuban cultural heritage through collaboration between institutions and local communities. A key objective has been to promote the use of technological and methodological innovations in the conservation of built cultural heritage. Various entities were involved, including Assorestauro, Fundación Tecnalia, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, University of Florence, AITR, Arci Toscana, and DiaCon srl, already a UNIFI Spin-off. The monograph gathers contributions from project participants who describe the case study and offer proposals for the restoration and repurposing of the Convent into a Training Center for Heritage Management and Conservation for Cuba and the Caribbean.

        <p>La monografia si inserisce nel progetto INNOVA CUBA, parte di un partenariato pluriennale tra ARCS e la Oficina de l’Historiador de la Ciudad de la Habana (OHCH).
Il fine è quello di rafforzare la conservazione, valorizzazione e diffusione del patrimonio culturale cubano attraverso la collaborazione tra istituzioni e comunità locali. Un obiettivo chiave è stato promuovere l’uso di innovazioni tecnologiche e metodologiche nella conservazione del patrimonio culturale costruito. Sono stati coinvolti vari enti, tra cui Assorestauro, Fondazione Tecnalia, Accademia delle Belle Arti di Varsavia, Università di Firenze, AITR, Arci Toscana e DiaCon srl già Spin-off UNIFI. La monografia raccoglie i contributi dei partecipanti al progetto che descrivono il caso studio ed offrono delle proposte di recupero e rifunzionalizzazione del Convento in un Centro di Formazione in Gestione e Conservazione del Patrimonio per Cuba e i Caraibi.

La monografía se refiere al proyecto INNOVA CUBA, una asociación de varios años entre ARCS y la Oficina del Historiador de la Ciudad de la Habana (OHCH). El objetivo es fortalecer la conservación, valorización y difusión del patrimonio cultural cubano a través de la colaboración entre instituciones y comunidades locales. Un objetivo clave fue promover el uso de innovaciones tecnológicas y metodológicas en la conservación del patrimonio cultural construido. Participaron varios organismos, entre ellos Assorestauro, Fondazione Tecnalia, Academia de Bellas Artes de Varsovia, Universidad de Florencia, AITR, Arci Toscana y DiaCon srl, anteriormente una spin-off de UNIFI. El monográfico recoge los aportes de los participantes del proyecto que describen el caso de estudio y ofrecen
propuestas para la recuperación y refuncionalización del Convento como Centro de Capacitación en Gestión y Conservación del Patrimonio para Cuba y el Caribe.</p>
