      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>Laboratory No. 2 involved active participation from representatives of 11 diverse organizations, including associations, academia, and local public institutions. The focus was on promoting engaged and conscious citizenship that goes beyond exercising rights to actively contribute to community improvement and social justice, with particular attention to age-friendly spaces. The projects highlighted active ageing, intergenerational participation, and holistic care across the lifespan, emphasizing integrated and sustainable approaches to well-being. Key themes included resilience during emergencies like the pandemic, the importance of memory and cultural exchange, volunteer engagement in later life, and educational initiatives in schools to foster intergenerational bonds. These practices demonstrated community-based, participatory models that strengthen social cohesion and networks. A common challenge identified was enhancing participatory planning with beneficiaries. Overall, the diverse interventions show promising results in promoting well-being and social inclusion, contributing to positive ageing education and a more inclusive society.</p>
