      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>The text analyses the role of cultural welfare and social tourism within the Third Sector, focusing on the experience of Auser Marche. Starting from the regulatory framework of the Third Sector Code and the Faro Convention, it explores how tourism activities can generate social benefits through active participation and the enhancement of local cultural heritage. The “Strade Culture Relazioni” project by Auser Marche represents a significant example of participatory social tourism, where social tourism facilitators organize self-managed group trips across the Marche region, promoting territorial discovery and the strengthening of associative networks. The initiative involved over 100 volunteers for a total of 3,000 hours of activity, generating positive outcomes in terms of acquired skills, social cohesion, and territorial enhancement. The success of the project led to its evolution into the “R.A.D.I.C.I.” program, focused on discovering the Marche hinterland with the involvement of 18 associations.</p>
