The volume contains the contributions of the Italian delegation to the 14th International Congress of Slavic Studies (Ohrid, 10-16th September 2008). The articles, divided into three macro-sections (Philology and Linguistics; Literature, culture and folklore; History of Slavic Studies), appear to be representative of the main trains of research followed by Slavic studies: from typological linguistics to palaeography, from problems of intertextuality and multiculturalism to the history of literature, from historical poetics to the analysis of contemporary poetic texts. The volume closes with two essays dedicated to the reconstruction of some fundamental stages of the early years of Slavic Studies in Italy, and with the Bibliography of the Italian publications on Slavic Studies in the years 2003-2007 (edited by Gabriele Mazzitelli), an eloquent testimony of the lively diffusion and complex ramification of the studies carried out over the last years.

Il volume racchiude i contributi della delegazione italiana al XIV Congresso Internazionale degli Slavisti (Ocrida, 10-16 Settembre 2008). Suddivisi in tre macrosezioni (Filologia е Linguistica; Letteratura, cultura e folclore; Storia della slavistica) gli articoli appaiono rappresentativi delle principali direttrici della ricerca coltivata dalla slavistica: dalla linguistica tipologica alla paleografia, dai problemi dell'intertestualità e della multiculturalità alla storia della letteratura, dalla poetica storica all'analisi di testi poetici contemporanei. Chiudono il volume due saggi dedicati alla ricostruzione di alcune tappe fondamentali dei primi anni della Slavistica italiana e la Bibliografia della produzione slavistica italiana relativa al periodo 2003-2007 (a cura di Gabriele Mazzitelli), testimonianza eloquente della vivace diffusione e complessa ramificazione degli studi negli ultimi anni.
