The volume, published in honour of Filippo Boschi, consists of an introduction and sixteen contributions reporting studies and research by authors from various Italian Universities, including Florence, Padua, Rome, Trieste, often in collaboration with groups of scholars of prestigious foreign Universities. The volume therefore presents some of the most up-to-date scientific achievements on the psychology of reading in particular and on cognitive and linguistic development in general, and is intended not only for specialists and experts of the sector, but also for university students engaged in the study of developmental psychology and education.
