        <p>The volume, published in honour of Filippo Boschi, consists of an introduction and sixteen contributions reporting studies and research by authors from various Italian Universities, including Florence, Padua, Rome, Trieste, often in collaboration with groups of scholars of prestigious foreign Universities. The volume therefore presents some of the most up-to-date scientific achievements on the psychology of reading in particular and on cognitive and linguistic development in general, and is intended not only for specialists and experts of the sector, but also for university students engaged in the study of developmental psychology and education.</p>

        <p>Il volume, pubblicato in onore di Filippo Boschi, si compone di un'introduzione e sedici contributi che riportano studi e ricerche realizzate da autori di varie Università italiane, tra cui Firenze, Padova, Roma, Trieste, spesso in collaborazione con gruppi di studiosi di prestigiose Università straniere. Il volume presenta quindi alcune delle più aggiornate acquisizioni scientifiche sulla psicologia della lettura in particolare e dello sviluppo cognitivo e linguistico in generale, ed è destinato non solo a specialisti e cultori del settore, ma anche agli studenti universitari impegnati nello studio della psicologia dello sviluppo e dell'educazione.</p>
