      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>The work collects over two hundred solved exercises in thermodynamics, most of which were proposed during lectures and written tests of the Physical Chemistry courses. The concepts illustrated by the exercises include the principles of thermodynamics, the behaviour of perfect and real gases, thermochemistry, chemical equilibrium, the properties of pure substances and mixtures, and colligative properties. The text is aimed at verifying the understanding of the basic concepts explained in class and at deepening some particular aspects, and is addressed to students of degree courses in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biological Sciences, Geological Sciences, Pharmacy and Agriculture.</p>

        <p>L'opera raccoglie oltre duecento esercizi risolti di termodinamica, la maggior parte dei quali proposti durante le lezioni frontali e le prove scritte dei corsi di Chimica Fisica. I concetti illustrati dagli esercizi includono i principi della termodinamica, il comportamento dei gas perfetti e reali, la termochimica, l'equilibrio chimico, le proprietà delle sostanze pure e delle miscele, e le proprietà colligative.
Il testo è mirato a verificare l'apprendimento dei concetti basilari svolti a lezione, e ad approfondire alcuni aspetti particolari, ed è rivolto agli studenti dei corsi di laurea in Chimica, Fisica, Ingegneria, Scienze Biologiche, Scienze Geologiche, Farmacia e Agraria.</p>
