        <p>The lemma gathers the essential entries in the field of artistic goods and includes place names and personal names strictly connected to Italian and Florentine art. It is a reference work, of great interest also for researchers of specialized vocabulary and extremely useful for translators and cultural operators.

The corpus used contains over a million words and constitutes, along with comparable corpora in French, German, Russian, English, and Spanish, the General LBC Corpus http://corpora.lessicobeniculturali.net. It is composed of texts of different types and genres from the Renaissance to the twentieth century and collects, alongside original language writings, also translations from other languages. It includes classic works dedicated to the Florentine and Italian artistic heritage, such as Giorgio Vasari's Vita and Benvenuto Cellini's Vite, technical texts like Andrea Palladio's I Quattro Libri dell'Architettura; famous historical-artistic writings by non-Italian authors, for example, Jacob Burckhardt's Geschichte der Renaissance in Italien or John Ruskin's Mornings in Florence, along with works by great writers dedicated to the Grand Tour in Italy, such as Stendhal's Promenade dans Rome, Goethe's Italienische Reise, etc. The list of sources used for each language is presented on the website.

By clicking on the words in the lemma, a window will open containing the list of concordances, as well as citations of the terms in the corpus sources, accompanied by an abbreviation that refers to the bibliographic indication of the originating text. The lemma includes about 2000 words of essential art lexicon and about 10,000 concordances that show their usage in context.</p>

        <p>El lema recopila las entradas esenciales en el campo del patrimonio artístico e incluye nombres de lugares y personas estrictamente relacionados con el arte italiano y florentino. Es una obra de consulta, de gran interés también para los estudiosos del léxico especializado y extremadamente útil para traductores y profesionales culturales.

El corpus utilizado contiene más de un millón de palabras y constituye, junto con corpora comparables en francés, alemán, ruso, inglés y español, el Corpus general LBC http://corpora.lessicobeniculturali.net. Está compuesto por textos de diferentes tipos y géneros desde el Renacimiento hasta el siglo XX y recoge, junto con escritos en el idioma original, también traducciones de otros idiomas. Incluye obras clásicas dedicadas al patrimonio artístico florentino e italiano, como las Vite de Giorgio Vasari y la Vita de Benvenuto Cellini, textos técnicos como I Quattro Libri dell'Architettura de Andrea Palladio; famosos escritos histórico-artísticos de autores no italianos, como Geschichte der Renaissance in Italien de Jacob Burckhardt o Mornings in Florence de John Ruskin, junto con obras de grandes literatos dedicadas al Gran Tour en Italia, como Promenade dans Rome de Stendhal, Italienische Reise  de Goethe, etc. La lista de fuentes utilizadas para cada idioma se presenta en el sitio.

Al hacer clic en las palabras del lema, se abrirá una ventana que contiene la lista de concordancias, así como las citas de los términos en las fuentes del corpus, acompañadas de una abreviatura que remite a la indicación bibliográfica del texto de origen. El lema incluye aproximadamente 2000 palabras del léxico esencial del arte y alrededor de 10.000 concordancias que muestran su uso en contexto.</p>
