        <p>The lemma gathers the essential entries in the field of artistic goods and includes place names and personal names strictly connected to Italian and Florentine art. It is a reference work, of great interest also for researchers of specialized vocabulary and extremely useful for translators and cultural operators.

The corpus used contains over a million words and constitutes, along with comparable corpora in French, German, Russian, English, and Spanish, the General LBC Corpus http://corpora.lessicobeniculturali.net. It is composed of texts of different types and genres from the Renaissance to the twentieth century and collects, alongside original language writings, also translations from other languages. It includes classic works dedicated to the Florentine and Italian artistic heritage, such as Giorgio Vasari's Vita and Benvenuto Cellini's Vite, technical texts like Andrea Palladio's I Quattro Libri dell'Architettura; famous historical-artistic writings by non-Italian authors, for example, Jacob Burckhardt's Geschichte der Renaissance in Italien or John Ruskin's Mornings in Florence, along with works by great writers dedicated to the Grand Tour in Italy, such as Stendhal's Promenade dans Rome, Goethe's Italienische Reise, etc. The list of sources used for each language is presented on the website.

By clicking on the words in the lemma, a window will open containing the list of concordances, as well as citations of the terms in the corpus sources, accompanied by an abbreviation that refers to the bibliographic indication of the originating text. The lemma includes about 2000 words of essential art lexicon and about 10,000 concordances that show their usage in context.</p>

        <p>Le lexique recueille les termes essentiels dans le domaine des biens artistiques et comprend des toponymes et des anthroponymes étroitement liés à l'art italien et florentin. Il s'agit d'une œuvre de consultation, d'un grand intérêt également pour les chercheurs en lexicographie spécialisée et extrêmement utile pour les traducteurs et les opérateurs culturels.

Le corpus utilisé contient plus d'un million de mots et constitue, avec des corpus comparables en français, allemand, russe, anglais et espagnol, le Corpus général LBC http://corpora.lessicobeniculturali.net. Il est composé de textes de différentes typologies et genres de la Renaissance au XXe siècle et rassemble, en plus des écrits en langue originale, également des traductions d'autres langues. Il comprend des œuvres classiques consacrées au patrimoine artistique florentin et italien, telles que les Vite de Giorgio Vasari et la Vita de Benvenuto Cellini, des textes techniques comme I Quattro Libri dell'Architettura d'Andrea Palladio ; des écrits historico-artistiques célèbres d'auteurs non italiens, comme Geschichte der Renaissance in Italien de Jacob Burckhardt ou Mornings in Florence de John Ruskin, ainsi que des œuvres de grands écrivains consacrées au Grand Tour en Italie, comme Promenade dans Rome de Stendhal, Italienische Reise de Goethe, etc. La liste des sources utilisées pour chaque langue est présentée sur le site.

En cliquant sur les mots du lexique, une fenêtre s'ouvrira contenant la liste des concordances, ainsi que les citations des termes dans les sources du corpus, accompagnées d'un sigle renvoyant à l'indication bibliographique du texte d'origine. Le lexique comprend environ 2000 mots du lexique essentiel de l'art et environ 10.000 concordances montrant leur utilisation en contexte.</p>
